The luxury island resort in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, beat Obama’s new resort, Brando. Nihi means “rocky hill” and the beach was originally named for the rocks at high tide.
Nihi was founded by Chris Burch, known for creating some of the world’s most famous fashion brands, including C. Wonder and Tory Burch.
