Best Hotel In Disney World Orlando – Guests looking for outside Walt Disney World hotels can find a variety of great accommodations with more travel point redemption options, closer locations to other Orlando tourist destinations, and some that come with Walt Disney World benefits. Now don’t get me wrong, my family and I love resort hotels on site because of the great perks but there are perks to staying off site as well. My family and I found some great places around WWD that are off site but not too far from all the magic!

The Waldorf Astoria Orlando is luxury at its best for guests looking for these deluxe options at off-site Walt Disney World hotels. Nestled within a 482-acre nature preserve on the outskirts of WWD, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando is all about classic comfort and relaxation, but comes with a steep price per night. Rooms are comparable to Disney Deluxe Resorts and start at $500 per night (depending on season and occupancy).

The 11 Best Hotels Near Disneyland (updated May 2021)

Nightly resort fees are slightly higher but include wireless internet, a spacious fitness center, access to their spa, practice facilities at the golf club, two pools, a luxury motor coach to/from WDW, and 12 on-site restaurants and lounges. The Waldorf offers guests special Disney benefits, including Extra Magic Hours and FastPass+ with the option to reserve select attractions up to 60 days prior to arrival. Check their website for special offers, sometimes including breakfast for two adults and housekeeping twice a day!

The Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek makes our list of top hotels at Walt Disney World because of its newly renovated rooms, some offering breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom, the price (less expensive than its sister hotel – the nearby Waldorf Astoria Orlando – per night With rooms starting at $150 (depending on season and occupancy), access to Disney’s Extra Magic Hours and 60-day FastPass+ privileges, 12 on-site restaurants, shuttles to Disney parks, and a 3-acre pool and lazy river!

Yes, the resort fee is quite high, but everything this hotel offers to the guests is well justified and ensures that it suits your every need.

What makes this hotel special is its proximity to the Disney Springs area, which offers access to Disney World from restaurants and entertainment to access points to the Disney parks. But really, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort has it all. Room rates start around $300 per night (depending on season and occupancy), and resort fees include a fitness center, pool, and shuttles to and from WDW. Wyndham Lake Buena Vista also offers guests additional Magic Hours and advanced Fastpass+ options.

Best Disney World Hotels For A Magical Vacation In 2022

I have to admit, Best Western is my favorite hotel chain because of its trusted name. I have never stayed at a Best Western and had a worse experience.

The Best Western Lake Buena Vista Hotel is conveniently located in the Disney Springs area, putting guests minutes from Disney. If that’s not enough to convince you, prices start at $130 per night (depending on season and occupancy). Reasonable nightly resort and parking charges. Amenities are good, with an outdoor pool, fitness center, transportation to and from WDW, and the convenience of choosing Fastpass+ in advance. Each room is equipped with refrigerators making it easy to store necessities. Check their website for special offers like kids 10 and under eat free breakfast with one paying adult.

What I absolutely love about this hotel is that every room is spacious, which is a plus when you’re traveling with kids! Hilton’s Disney Spring location, amenities and access to Extra Magic Hours and advanced Fastpass+ bookings make Double Tree Suites one of my family’s top picks!

Four Seasons Resort Orlando has it all – including stunning rooms with views of the Magic Kingdom. That’s how you get closer to the magic of this AAA Diamond resort. The services that come with your stay justify the high resort fees. Extra Magic Controllers and Fastpass+ advance selections are also offered here. Apart from the 5-acre water park, 5-star food and free kids camp, another bonus is the Disney-style breakfast at the Ravello restaurant (Thursday and Saturday only – fee applies).

Should You Stay At Disney World’s Cheapest Hotel?

Set on its own private 1,500-acre grounds, this comfortable hotel offers guests a respite from the hustle and bustle of WDW. If you’re planning a vacation from WDW, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers fun activities like rock climbing, golf, and swimming at their lagoon-like pool. Prices start at $170 per night (depending on season and occupancy), which is great, but resort rates are a bit higher at $42.75 per night.

The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark made our list of top hotels at Walt Disney World for many reasons! Not only is it an official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel, but it’s also located less than a mile from the entrance to the WWD. The pool is what convinced my family and I to book here! Did I mention the pool? I mean a water park with an Olympic size pool, water slides, fun pool activities and a splash zone. As if that wasn’t enough, the site has a 4-D experience, Bank Heist Laser Challenge, mini golf and arcade.

There are no Disney privileges here, but there are lots of great deals for families with kids up to 12 who eat free at select on-site restaurants. Check the hotel website for more details.

Rooms start at $66.50 per night (depending on season and occupancy)! With so many amazing activities, this rate is a great deal! Resort rates are reasonable considering all the above hotel offerings and shuttle service to and from surrounding areas.

Stay And Play At Walt Disney World® Resort’s Magical Hotels In Orlando

What I really like is the level of kindness at all Embassy Suites hotels. Yes, Embassy Suites Orlando I-Drive is expensive, but the amenities make it worth it! The rooms were always very clean and comfortable when my family stayed here. Each room is spacious, being a two-room suite! What I find useful is the microwave and mini fridge in each room. Guests are treated to a complimentary continental breakfast and evening meal, which includes complimentary snacks, beverages and cocktails. And the pools are amazing – one indoor pool and one outdoor.

Yes, guests are a bit far from the center of WDW, but the free shuttle to/from the parks and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping make it worth the stay.

Sonesta ES Suites Orlando – International Drive made the list of top hotels at Walt Disney World because of the great deals available to you through our travel partner Get Away Today! But that’s not the only reason we love it! Sonesta ES Suites Orlando – International Drive is conveniently located between WDW and Universal Studios and provides many transportation options to all the entertainment Orlando has to offer! All spacious rooms have one or two bedrooms/two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen (you can save big on eating out), complimentary enhanced breakfast buffet, fitness center, wireless internet and a heated pool/sun deck. .
