Best Hotel In Walt Disney World – Guests looking for off-site Walt Disney World hotels can find a number of accommodations that offer free travel options, close proximity to other Orlando tourist attractions, and some that even come with Walt Disney World. Don’t get me wrong, my family and I prefer on-site resort hotels because of the amenities, but there are advantages to staying off-site. My family and I have found some great places around WDW that are not on site but not far from all the magic!

This luxury hotel sits on 1,500 private acres and offers guests a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of WDW. The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Water Park is on our list of the top ten hotels outside of Walt Disney World for many reasons! Not only is it an official Walt Disney World hotel next door, but it’s a mile from the WDW entrance. And the pool is what convinced my family and I to book here! Did I say pool? I was thinking of a water park with an Olympic size pool, water slides, pool activities and a splash pad. As if that weren’t enough, there’s a 4-D experience, Bank Heist Laser Challenge, miniature golf and an arcade game on site.

There are no Disney attractions here, but there are plenty of great family deals with kids 12 and under and free kids deals at select restaurants. Check the hotel’s website for more details.

The rooms are always clean and comfortable when my family stays here. And each room is spacious because it has two rooms! What I found useful was the microwave and mini fridge in each room. Guests enjoy a continental breakfast and dinner that includes delicious snacks, drinks and cocktails. And the pools are amazing – one indoor and one outdoor pool.
