Northeast of San Juan, on the west side of Siquijor Island, is the beautiful white-sand Paliton Beach. The water is clear and has a great view of Apo Island. Take the turn at the chapel in Paliton village and follow the sealed track for about 1km to the beach. The best snorkeling in Siquijor is along the wall that stretches from Paliton Beach in the southeast to Tubod Beach.
It can only be reached by boat or on foot. (Five hours from Pundaquit.) This dramatic arc of ash-white sand attracts visitors from Manila. Now, I have no hesitation in saying that you can’t see the whole Philippines in one trip, heck, I doubt you’ll see it all if you spend a decade here. That’s why we visit, we have to prioritize certain sites that we know we like.

With clear turquoise waters that I have ever seen. And with a history that spans over 50,000 years, it’s a quiet place to explore. Be sure to visit El Nido while in Palawan. It is located in the easternmost part of the main island.
Be sure to wander around El Nido and rent your own boat when you come here. Each of the islands in the Bakoit Archipelago has magnificent rocky cliffs and the clearest waters I have ever seen. There are also many places for diving.
Now, if you want to come here, take a big plane from Manila (or Bohol, etc.) to Puerto Princesa, then drive about 5-6 hours (depending on the speed of your driver) to El Nido. Alternatively, fly directly to El Nido from Manila on a small plane with Air Swift.
Another option, if El Nido is not in your imagination, go to Coron Island, Palawan. which is about 60-80 km away from El Nido.

Currently, the best way to get to Coron is by ferry or by Air Swift (which only takes 25 minutes).
Home to beach resorts and dive sites to boot, Cebu Island is an outdoor playground for couples. If you are a small child, it is one of the best places in the Philippines.
We did not dive with whale sharks while we were here because we had heard stories about whale shark feeding on the tour. Obviously, this means that the whale sharks have not left the area. (which they do naturally) and end up not reproducing. All of this means that as whale sharks get used to being fed by humans, their numbers will decline.
Keep this in mind when going on tour and ask as many questions as you want. Reckless feeding in the long run leads to the death of the organism.
Best Beaches In The Philippines
Now in the southwest of Cebu lies the beautiful Kawasan Falls, one of the best places to visit in the Philippines. Just be sure to wear waterproof shoes that you can swim in. Because the area can be rocky and quite slippery.
Tumalog Falls is located near the southern tip of Cebu. Another great spot to visit if you’re in the southern part of the island. Be sure to use pesos for admission.
And it’s a great stop before heading to a remote island. This is one of the best places in the Philippines to visit during the festival week. Events take place over several days throughout the year and celebrate island culture, music and life. All of these are full of street food and lots of energy.
Don’t forget to visit Lake Cebu. Explore the lake on foot, take a boat ride or fly over the lake on a zip line. Go to Seven Falls Viewpoint to admire the waterfall and jump on the zip line.
